Company is seeking a qualified Contractor position for Financial Analyst 3 - Warehouse Operations Finance Management Analyst. This role will be responsible for Warehouse Operations cost management and analytics. OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze, verify, dispute financial data / invoices and present material in a professional manner.
- Track, measure, report, and support Internal Management (Warehouse, Contracting, and Finance) and external service providers (3PL’s) in regards to all aspects of cost management and analytics.
- Develop, implement, and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures related to cost management of warehouse operations.
- Communicate with the vendors to collect invoices and necessary backups, to reconcile issues, and to pay them timely and fairly.
- Prepare cost analysis on warehouse operations and logistics costs for use within warehouse management.
- Improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, and identifying trends.
- Participate in annual budget planning and cost saving activities in corporation with each unit part team.
- Issue Risk Management and support ad-hoc reports as directed by the management.
- Create supporting material, analytics, and presentations for management reviews and meetings. QUALIFICATIONS
- This position requires a strong analytical background with the ability to analyze, verify, dispute financial data / invoices and present material in a professional manner.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze problems, gathering information, generating options, and driving action.
- Accustomed to working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and has the ability to work under time pressures.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Finance, Operations Management with 7 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of key supply chain / logistics processes and current best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and create original analyses.
- Strong interpersonal and consensus building skills.
- Previous experience using SAP WMS is desired.
- Strong skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, focused on Excel and PowerPoint is desired.
- CPA preferred.
