Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on vehicles, including powertrain systems, using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Understand and perform diagnostics of all electrical and mechanical automotive systems.
  • Utilize hand tools, electrical testing and welding techniques as necessary to complete repairs effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
  • Maintain records of services performed, parts used and communicate findings to service writer clearly.
  • Stay up to date on the latest automotive technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety(glasses, guards, steel toes) and maintain a clean and organized work environment everyday.
  • Provide excellent service by completing repairs timely and properly while addressing concerns and providing recommendations for vehicle needs.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Tool box and full set of tools for maintenance, diagnostic and repairs, basic fabrication tools a plus.
  • Steel toed footwear
  • Tested and proven experience in automotive and diesel repair
  • Welding experience required, Fabrication a plus.
  • Knowledge of auto service procedures and diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with powertrain and electrical systems and the ability to transmit diagnostic information effectively.
  • Be a learner with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Self starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to provide clear information.
  • A valid driver's license with clear driving record.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
