Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your exceptional customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively will ensure that every guest feels welcomed and valued.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart.
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with reservations and inquiries.
- Collaborate with the waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Utilize Resy or other point-of-sale systems for managing guest information and reservations.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Communicate effectively with team members to enhance the overall dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle guest relations with a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with Resy or similar systems is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for providing outstanding guest services in a hospitality setting.
