Duties
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using Toast POS or similar systems.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly to tables while ensuring accuracy.
- Provide recommendations on menu items and specials to enhance the dining experience.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations by bussing tables as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Adhere to all food safety and handling guidelines to guarantee guest safety.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems like Toast or other sales platforms.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Experience with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and restaurant operations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, particularly during peak hours.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
- Previous experience in food service or nightclub settings is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized while managing multiple tables.
