Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Shift Leader to join our team. As a Shift Leader, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations during your designated shifts. You will be responsible for leading and motivating the team, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate team members during shifts
- Provide training and guidance to staff members on policies, procedures, and customer service
- Ensure smooth operations by managing workflow and resolving any issues that may arise
- Oversee food preparation, handling, and service to meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improving efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Perform opening or closing duties as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the restaurant industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
- Knowledge of restaurant management practices and procedures
- Proficiency in food service operations including kitchen management and food handling
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers and staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Duties Include
- Taking customer's food orders
- Maintaining courteous interaction with customers at all times
- Assembling food such as sandwiches, hamburgers, salads and preparing milkshakes.
- Preparing all food products according to standard operating procedures
- Portioning and wrapping food or placing it directly on dine in plates for service to patrons
- Packaging takeout food
- Serving customers at counters
- Stocking refrigerators and stations
- Initiating actions to resolve customer complaints and referring customers concerns to the management team immediately
- Ensuring products/supplies are rotated using the FIFO method
- Monitoring and maintaining all products and supplying levels and notifies management team when levels are low
- Notifying management team immediately when equipment requires repair
- Ensuring production and service areas are organized, professional and clean at all times
- This role may include additional responsibilities that may be assigned by the management team
