Compensation:
- In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this position is posted with this position. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Role Summary
As a Camp Nurse, you will be pivotal in supporting children, youth, and families facing life’s toughest challenges. Whether you provide hands-on case management, help to develop life skills, or provide emotional support, your work will directly impact the lives of those we serve.
What We’re Looking For:

How you will Impact Change:
- Serves as the primary resource regarding campers and staff referrals to the clinic or hospital.
- Ensures that all medical releases, worker’s compensation, and camper medical forms accompany campers and/or staff to the clinic or hospital.
- Provides a list of required medications to be taken by each camper and staff.
- Conducts rapid covid testing on an as-needed basis.
- Maintains the required Daily Log.
Qualifications
Education and Credentials
- An associate's degree from an accredited college or university or LVN equivalent is required.
- Current CPR, First Aid and AED certification, required.
- At least one year of supervisory experience, required.
- Ability to oversee and supervise small and large groups in camp and cabin activities.
- Prior resident camp experience is desirable.
- Desire to work with children, teens, and adults who are blind, visually impaired, and multi-disabled.
