The BASE program seeks enthusiastic individuals to bring their talents and passion to our vibrant Preschool through the Grade 5 after school program. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage in fun, recreational, and dynamic activities in a fast-paced environment at Wayland Public Schools.

TITLE:
Aide (18 )

General Responsibilities:

• Provide support for program activities for participants while ensuring adherence to program policies and procedures.
• Build and maintain meaningful relationships with students, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
• Assist in delivering age-appropriate activities as directed by the Program Coordinator, Instructor, or Activity Leader.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other assigned activities throughout the year.
• Contribute to the success of inclusion programming to ensure all students are engaged and supported.
• Take on supervisory responsibilities, including activity planning and oversight of program activities.
• Provide leadership within the team, guide less experienced staff, and ensure program goals are achieved.
• Perform additional duties as reasonably assigned by the Program Coordinator or Director

Hours:

• Flexible schedules are available from 2:00 PM (1:00 PM on Wednesdays) to 5:00 PM or 6:00 pm, 2-5 days per week.
• We also welcome applicants interested in substitute positions.

Pay Rate:

• Competitive pay: $21.64 - $23.99 per hour, depending on experience.
