METCO Water Warriors After-School Support Staff
We are seeking two staff members to support our METCO Water Warriors Program; which takes place at the High School. Water Warriors is a swim lesson program for METCO elementary and middle school students in grades K - 8 that runs on Wednesdays after school at the Wayland Community Pool (WCP) and is taught by Wayland High School students and/or swimmers.
The program begins on Wednesday, March 5 and runs through mid-May. There is no session over April break and there might be a skipped Wednesday in May due to the pool bubble being taken down (TBD, depending on the scheduling of that).
Support staff will be expected to:
- Be onsite at the HS
- Supervise students prior to WW beginning
- Assist with transition to pool and locker rooms
- Out of water support during lessons
- Transition out of pool into locker rooms
- Dismissal to buses
Hourly pay: $29.48 an hour
Salary : $29
