Technical Theater Director:
Serve as Technical Director for the Wayland Middle School musical until February 9, 2025. Work with the director on Design and scheduling. Design & Build sets with volunteer crew on a few Saturday mornings. Meet weekly (preferably Wednesday 2:30 - 3:30) to train student crew. Be present at tech rehearsals and productions; coordinate the strike and resetting of the theater and theater spaces following a production.
Be proficient in the basics of carpentry and set construction; schedule set builds and technical rehearsals in conjunction with the Stage Director.
Be knowledgeable in sound engineering and lighting design and able to train students in both areas.
Maintain and inventory theater and technical equipment at WMS.
Terms of Employment:
Mid December 2024 - February 9, 2025
$2000 (production centric schedule)
