What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Assistant position at Waymaker.Church?
The Production Team exists as part of the Experience Team to create environments in which people can encounter Jesus. We connect people to the Gospel through technology, but the highest priority is and must remain on the development and investment in people. The following important tasks and details regarding the role of the Production Assistant will contribute to this pursuit:
- In cooperation with the Production Director, the Production Assistant will assist with the continual development of a unified team culture in throughout production, worship, and creative teams.
- Establish stage setups in WayKids (Sunday morning babies through 5th grade), MidWay (Sunday morning 6th-8th grade), and WayYouth (Wednesday nights 9th-12th grade) environments as needed.
- Assists with weekly and monthly maintenance on audio, video, and lighting equipment.
- Works with the Production Director to set up all necessary equipment and connections for Sunday services.
- Performs the role of audio engineer for WayYouth on a rotating basis.
- Aids in the setup and preparation tasks for miscellaneous events.
- Schedule volunteers for miscellaneous environments as needed.
- Additional projects as needed by Production Director.
