Production Director

Summary of Position: This role is broken up into two main functions. One, being responsible for the coordination of Sunday services by managing technical requirements and expectations, the other as primarily overseeing all aspects of audio, lighting, staging and related items throughout our church and ministry environments. This is achieved through rostering, supervising, and coordinating training efforts to see a raised standard as well as consistency across the board.

Audio, Lighting and Creative Design Oversight - Sunday Services: 

• Responsible for the overall outcome in relation to audio, lighting and creative visual design for Sunday services.  
• Schedule, train, and resource all world changers for our Sunday experience. 
• Prepare all aspects of ProPresenter for Sunday mornings services with the assistance of the Project Manager as it pertains to visual graphics, lyrics, and lower thirds. 
• Prepare lighting for Sunday morning experience. 
• Seek direction from and work with the Senior Experience Director in order to identify and coordinate technical requirements for Sunday services.  

• Overseeing the scheduling for all production volunteers (World Changers). 
• Prepare weekly production notes with clear directions for world changers for our Sunday experience. 
• Oversee the Audio Coordinator to ensure they are recruiting and developing an audio team, maintaining audio equipment, and performing ongoing training for volunteer (World Changer) base. 

Technical Training and Volunteer (World Changer) Development: 

• Facilitate technical training.  

• Identify training needs, train operators in the equipment used as well as fundamental production training. 

• Oversee the recruitment, development and training of our volunteer (World Changer) base.  
• Create systems that facilitate the recruitment of volunteers (World Changers) and makes it easy and not difficult for people to be become involved in Production teams. 
• Oversee production systems, develop documentation as well as coordinate system maintenance 
• Develop Community and Team Culture: lead in creating an atmosphere that is welcoming and inclusive of new recruits. Establish a feeling of community and belonging to the broader team and cultivate long term investment from our existing volunteer (World Changer) base. 

Weekly Production: 

• Work alongside other ministries for events outside of Sunday services. 

• Meet with the ministry directors to solidify needs 
• Help set up and reset environments from a production standpoint. 

• Work to train production volunteers (World Changers) across all ministries (I.e., Way Youth, Midway, WayKids). 

Sunday Content Editing: 

• Execute the editing and uploading of Sunday messages to our YouTube Channel post-Sunday. 

• Execute the editing and uploading of Sunday messages for our podcast.
