About the role
- We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Maintenance Planner to join our team. The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing maintenance schedules and activities to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our nuclear facilities. Specifically involving Mechanical and Electrical Scopes.
This is a full-time, on-site role in support of Palisades NPP Restart Effort.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain detailed maintenance plans, schedules, and procedures for nuclear plant equipment and systems.
- Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to schedule maintenance activities that minimize downtime and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify and procure necessary tools, materials, and resources for maintenance activities.
- Monitor and track maintenance work orders, equipment status, and maintenance history.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and develop predictive maintenance strategies.
- Participate in the development and implementation of plant modifications and upgrades.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance and operations personnel.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action development for equipment failures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in nuclear maintenance planning or a related field.
- Knowledge of nuclear plant systems, equipment, and regulations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Asset Suite Experience is a plus
