You Will
- Manage physical security investigations, including incidents (on-road events, workplace violence) and consistent application of procedures/protocols.
- Manage vendor investigators: provide guidance, ensure quality/consistency/legal compliance, monitor performance.
- Ensure legal compliance with Waymo policies, data privacy standards, and police report filing requirements.
- Utilize the investigative case management platform to track investigation status, identify crime trends, and generate reports.
- Conduct quality control reviews of case packages delivered to law enforcement.
- Develop/maintain standardized workflows, processes, and training materials.
- Minimum of 5 years as a POST-certified law enforcement officer.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and contracts.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and investigative case management platforms.
- Relevant certifications, leading with Professional Certified Investigator (PCI), followed by Certified Protection Professional (CPP)
- One (1) year of security vendor management experience.
- Previous employment with Phoenix PD, Los Angeles PD, or San Francisco PD.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
