This position is located in our New Hope, MN, manufacturing facility. This is not a remote position.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Marketing Manager to lead and drive brand marketing initiatives for our salad topping and snack categories. This role will focus on developing and executing brand strategies, developing consumer insights, guiding product innovation, and leading go-to-market campaigns to increase brand awareness, sales, and market share. The ideal candidate will have experience in CPG brand management, a passion for food marketing, and a strong data-driven mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Development:
• Collaborate with leadership to define and execute comprehensive brand and marketing strategies that align with organizational goals to drive growth and build brand equity.
• Lead the development of brand positioning, messaging, and creative strategies that resonate with target consumers and differentiate the brand in the marketplace.
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior to identify new opportunities and optimize marketing strategies.
Product Development & Portfolio Management:
• Drive new product development by collaborating with R&D and cross-functional teams to create innovative products and line extensions that strengthen each brand’s portfolio.
• Manage the product lifecycle, working closely with R&D to oversee formulation & package updates, and overall product improvements.
• Oversee packaging design, partnering with external design agencies to create, review, and approve packaging and merchandising materials that align with brand identity and resonate with consumers.
Go-To-Market Execution:
• Manage digital marketing initiatives including advertising campaigns, social and email marketing, influencer and affiliate partnerships, SEO and ecommerce to enhance brand visibility, engagement and online sales.
• Develop retail marketing strategies to increase velocity and shelf presence in key accounts.
• Manage annual trade shows and collaborate with the sales team to execution promotional programs at retailers.
• Create compelling marketing assets including product photography, videos, ad creatives and product detail content. Manage content internally through content management systems (1WorldSync, Sydigo, Salsify, etc)
• Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and optimize future initiatives
Consumer Insights & Data Analysis:
• Conduct consumer research to gain deep insights into customer preferences, behaviors, and emerging trends within the food industry.
• Leverage data analytics (from SPINS/IRI, Datassentials, etc) to inform decision-making
• Measure and report on campaign success, consumer engagement, and sales impact to assess and optimize strategies.
Collaboration & Leadership:
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure marketing efforts are cohesive and aligned across all touchpoints.
• Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistency and alignment of messaging across all marketing channels.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field;
• 3–5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) or food/beverage industry.
• Proven track record of managing successful brand campaigns and product launches
• Strong analytical skills and experience with market research and consumer insights
• Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work with design and creative teams to develop compelling visuals and messaging through digital channels.
• Experience with marketing automation platforms and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar).
• Creative problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing market conditions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while independently managing projects.

Salary Range:
The expected annual salary range for this position is $90,000 to $130,000. This range reflects various factors such as education, skills, work experience, certifications, and more. Therefore, the final compensation for the selected candidate may fall anywhere within this range.
