What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at Wayne Bank?
Duties: Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and financial reconciliations. Prepare and analyze financial statements, regulatory reports, and board reports. Ensure compliance with banking regulations, GAAP, and internal financial policies. Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial accuracy. Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and capital requirements. Provide financial analysis and reporting to support executive decision-making. Work closely with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Oversee tax filings, asset-liability management, and loan loss provisions.
