What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service Worker position at Wayne County Care Center?
Hours: 6 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and 11 a.m. -7:30 (40 hours)
Days: vary (does include every other weekend)
The Wayne County Care Center is currently accepting applications for the position of full time FSW for the County’s 50 bed skilled/ intermediate nursing facility.
Responsibilities of a FSW:
· Provide a variety of services to support the dining needs of our residents under the supervision of a cook
· Assist with traying food, prep work in the kitchen, and clean up
· Responsible for serving food to residents in a welcoming manner and ensuring they are satisfied
· Administer constant, quality customer service to help our residents THRIVE!
Requirements of FSW:
· High school diploma or GED
· Compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service and excellence in senior care
· Ability to be a responsible and dependable team member who can take direction well
· Adaptable and able to work under pressure
