Job Title: Kennel Attendant
We are seeking a highly motivated and animal-loving individual to join our team as a Kennel Attendant.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily care and maintenance of our kennels, including cleaning and sanitizing facilities, providing food and water for the dogs, and assisting in the cleaning of the shelter and play yard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and sanitizing kennels
- Providing food and water for the dogs
- Assisting in the cleaning of the shelter and play yard
- Exercising the dogs
Working Conditions:
- Must be willing to work hard in all types of weather
- Must be willing to work with and around all types of dogs, including potentially dangerous ones
Employment Details:
- 24-32 hours per week
- Includes Saturdays and some holidays
- 8-hour days (3 days on then 3 days off)
- Hours are 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Starting wage is $16.00/hour
