Job Description
The Student Academic Success Coach coordinates, supports and implements the district's academic and behavior initiatives and in conjunction with the administrator, teachers, and support staff, will provide support services in areas such as : academics, goal setting and monitoring.
Qualifications
- Must be a high school graduate and have 30 college credits.
- Preferred experience : A minimum of two years' experience in an educational agency or youth community program working with teens.
- Skills / Other :
Must hold a Michigan's driver's license. Exhibit an interest and enthusiasm for working with teens and administration staff and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. Punctuality and good attendance are requirements for the position. Demonstrated mental / physical ability and stamina for meeting the essential duties of the position and the ability to travel to and from the intermediate school district. Ability to work a flexible workday, work week, work year. Always represent the district in a professional manner. WOrks successfully as a member of the team. Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism at all times. Ability to exercise good judgment and make decisions in accordance with board policies and established administrative guidelines. Effective presentation skills. Experience using database software. Ability to utilize district technology and work to maintain proficiency, as required skill sets change with technology and / or the needs of the district.
Compensation : $38,500 plus benefits.
