Position Summary: Serve as an essential member of the support staff for the Wayne County Domestic Relations Department. This position entails accounting, bookkeeping, and fiscal responsibilities, as well as some general office duties and supervisory support for the support staff. _____________________________________________________________________________________
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform financial bookkeeping duties, to include bank deposits, posting of account payments, providing clients with pay histories, conducting case audits, and reviewing credit bureau requests.
Maintain and reconcile the department’s bank accounts and maintain financial ledgers and expenditure logs.
Assist director with the state financial reports and general office matters.
Process case closures and corresponding orders as requested.
Assist with file destruction and record maintenance.
Maintain accurate case records within the Pennsylvania Child Support Enforcement System (PACSES).
Serve as the department’s PACSES system administrator.
Process unreimbursed medical expenses and assist with recording and updating medical insurance information.
Maintain and order office supplies.
Maintain filing system.
Maintain the electronic office calendar.
Answer incoming phone calls and direct them accordingly.
Assist with mail processing and scanning into the department’s electronic imaging system.
Provide support, assistance, and guidance to other support staff.
Comply with all Federal and State regulations.
Operate under the direct supervision of the Wayne County Court of Common Pleas.

Position Requirements:
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Knowledge of automated computer systems and experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written forms.
Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and deal appropriately with emotionally charged individuals.
Capability to sit or stand for extended periods of time and handle light lifting.
Ability to work as a team player and manage time efficiently.
Maintain confidentiality and maintain a professional demeanor.

Education/Experience: Position requires a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma. Accounting and bookkeeping experience is highly preferred.
Within six months of hire, the employee must successfully complete the State's new hire training with a score of 80% or higher to maintain employment. _____________________________________________________________________________________
