Job Description
The Dietary Cook job consists of preparing and cooking of food for patient, staff, and customer consumption. The Dietary Cook will prepare food in advance to ensure food items are properly thawed for cooking, season and cook food items properly, assists on the patient tray line, clean the cooking area, wash dishes used during the food preparation process, and performs other task as assigned. The Dietary Cook must be able to read, follow menus/food preparation instructions, and prepare food items based on required diets such as low sodium, diabetic food, and other health related prescribed dietary needs.
