General Information:
To provide daily care and supervision for residents of Wayne Halfway House, Inc. Programs, following all criteria set by the State of Tennessee Department of Children's Services and Wayne Halfway House, Inc. Assist the Security Supervisor as directed with the implementation of rules and Policies.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Perform intake on new residents.
· Keep daily logs.
· Participate in reporting and handling of crisis situations.
· Establish good rapport with the residents.
· Teach/ supervise Independent Living Skills.
· Encourage/ instruct residents in the practice of proper hygiene and health practices.
· Supervise recreational activities.
· Supervise mealtimes.
· Provide transportation for clients when needed.
· Demonstrate competence in cultural knowledge, awareness, and sensitivity.
· Maintain discipline following State and Federal guidelines.
· Maintain knowledge of community resources.
· Monitor residents for safe environment at the facility.
· Follow all applicable Policies and Procedures of Wayne Halfway House, Inc.
· Participate in the PQI Program as requested.
· Receive administrative supervision from Shift Supervisor and Educational/ Professional Development supervision from the assigned Staff Development Instructor.
· Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by Security Supervisor.
· Support the Wayne Halfway House, Inc. mission statement and approach to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Education and Experience

NO FELONY CONVICTIONS. Must pass a drug screen and background check and maintain eligibility for continued employment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
