General Information:
The Human Resources Assistant will handle the daily administrative HR duties of the facility in a professional manner under the direction of the Corporate Facilities HR Manager and Director of Human Resources. Local travel will be required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the management of the facility.
· Provides constructive advice on HR matters to supervisors.
· Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Support all internal and external Human Resource related inquiries or requests.
· Maintain digital and electronic records of employees.
· Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing background and reference checks, and issuing employment contracts.
· Oversee the completion of compensation and benefit documentation (PTO/Vacation Accrual).
· Schedule interviews with and administer drug tests on new hires.
· Produce and submit general HR reports and reports on general HR activity.
· Submit payroll time and promptly report any payroll errors.
· Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews.
· Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
· Resolve employee grievances.
· Track open positions.
· Scheduling of employees to maintain proper staffing rations.
· Follow all Policies and Procedure of the Company.
· Demonstrate cultural knowledge, awareness, and sensitivity.
· Perform any other job-related duties pertaining to the Human Resource Department.

Education and Experience
· A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
· Bachelor’s degree in business or HR field is preferred.
· At least 2 years in office administration is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, or walking.
· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
· Must pass a drug test.
NO FELONY CONVICTIONS. Must pass a drug screen and background check and maintain eligibility for continued employment.
