Duties
- Prepare and examine financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
- Conduct cash flow analysis to monitor the organization’s financial health.
- Prepare detailed financial reports for management and stakeholders, highlighting key insights and trends.
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in employee compensation and compliance with tax regulations.
- Provide mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering their professional development.
- Utilize PeopleSoft or similar accounting software for efficient financial management.
- Engage in governmental accounting practices as required by specific projects or clients.
- Stay updated on financial concepts and regulatory changes that may impact the organization’s operations.
Skills
- Proficient in accounting principles and practices, with a strong grasp of GAAP.
- Experience in accounts receivable management and cash flow analysis.
