About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team at Wayne J. Griffin Electric, Inc., one of the region's largest merit shop electrical contractors. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for analyzing bid documents, participating in pre-bid meetings, and executing precise takeoffs and quantity estimates.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze bid documents and participate in pre-bid meetings to accurately assess project scope.
- Execute precise takeoffs and quantity estimates with attention to detail.
- Develop comprehensive and well-structured project estimates.
- Foster positive communication with clients and team members throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven track record within a minimum of 5 years in Electrical estimation.
- Background in electrical field (field experience and electrical license strongly desired).
- Proficiency in MS Office, and experience with relevant estimating software.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Collaborative team player with a positive and self-motivated attitude.
- In-depth knowledge of construction practices and methods.
