What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospice Aide - Part-time position at Wayne Memorial Hospital?
Part-time (40 hours biweekly), 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
The Hospice Aide's duties include personal care, assisting patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, hygiene, and toileting. They help maintain the patients' dignity and comfort while respecting their preferences.
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively;
- Valid CNA certification
- History of good emotional stability with tact and good judgment;
- Spirit of dedication and a sincere interest in working with people who are terminally ill and their families
- Valid driver's license.
