What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Accounts Representative - Full-Time position at Wayne Memorial Hospital?
Full-Time (This is not a remote position)
Responsible for answering Incoming Patient phone calls along with the Billing of Hospital claims to various insurance carriers and/or government agencies, Accounts Receivable collection follow-up on unpaid claims with various insurance carriers and/or government agencies which could include collection follow-up with patient’s, attorney’s and/or other third party agents.
Minimum Requirements
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively via verbal and written skills.
- Good computation and organizational skills, able to understand an Insurance Explanation of Benefits.
- Detail oriented and understands basic problem solving skills.
- Related office experience and computer skills preferred via Microsoft Excel and Word products.
