What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pre-Admission Nurse (RN or LPN) Full-time position at Wayne Memorial Hospital?
Full-Time. (Days/Evenings)
Coordinates the pre-operative/pre-procedure care and performs clinical assessment of patients including diagnostic testing and other information as required for patient surgery/procedures. Coordinates with ordering physician, Central Scheduling and Prior Authorization Representative.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nurses or Registered Nurses required
- Current licensure in the State of Pennsylvania required
- Relevant post-graduate experience preferred
- Participates in educational conferences and updates/maintains professional knowledge and skills related to areas of practice.
