Candidate will transport patients to and from radiology and relates areas.
Requires the ability to communicate effectively; Requires the physical ability to transport and transfer patients.
Physical Standards:
Constantly: (Exists 75% or more of the time) Standing; walking; lifting and carrying 40 - >100 lbs. (ehlp is available 75->100 lbs.); pushing and pulling 75 - > 100 lbs. (help is available >100 lbs.).
Frequently: (Exists 25-75% of the time) Reaching (forward, lateral, low); stooping (bend at waist); crouching (bend at knees); twisting; balance; lifting and carrying 5-10 lbs.; exposure to radiation, infect hazards.
Occasionally: (Exists 5- 25% of the time) Reaching (overhead); kneeling; lifting and carrying 0-5 lbs. and 10-40 lbs.; pushing and pulling 0-75 lbs.; exposure to chemical hazards, moving machinery.
Rarely: (Exists under 5% of the time) Sitting with back support; climbing; crawling; exposure to slippery surfaces.
Sensory Requirements: Visual: close paperwork, VDT used, color vision required; Hearing: conversation, monitoring equipment, telephone, background noise; Sensory Discrimination.
