Job Description
Provides administrative support for nursing payroll and benefits services to support the day-to-day operation of Wayne Memorial Hospital. Payroll duties include processing nursing payroll on a computerized timekeeping system, calculating benefits, maintaining master information on A D Base system, distributing paychecks to Nursing Department employees, and making appropriate payroll changes as necessary, as well as assisting in the day-to-day operation of the Administration Office. Also, calculating and crediting appropriate sick, vacation, holiday earnings, summarizing monthly activities for reports, and working effectively with union representatives.

Requires the ability to communicate effectively;Excellent interpersonal skills; Must be detail oriented; Requires ability to shift between several duties simultaneously and maintain continuity; Requires one (1) year of secretarial/clerical experience or equivalent combination of experience, as well as knowledge of word processing software and hardware and desktop publishing equipment.; Knowledge of medical terminology desired.
