Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and clinically skilled Nurse Practitioner to provide the highest quality care in our Cardiology Center. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday daytime position with no on-call requirements.

Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program.
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practice, and medical care to give and evaluate patient care;
- Knowledge of organizational policies, regulations and procedures to administer patient care;
- Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care;
- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment;
- Skill in applying and modifying the principles, methods, and techniques as a professional health care provider; in taking medical history to assess medical condition and interpret findings;
- Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence;
- Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance, in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public;
- Ability to maintain quality control standards and ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations;
- Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures and to communicate clearly.
- As a member of the medical staff, must maintain hospital credentialing, competencies, and medical staff approval.
CRNP or FNP,
Ability to obtain PA license and DEA.

Rarely: (Exists under 5% of the time) Sitting w/o back support; kneeling; climbing; crawling; balance; lifting and carrying 75 - > 100 lbs. (help is available); exposure to radiation, vibration, chemical hazards, slippery surfaces, fumes.
