What are the responsibilities and job description for the Garage Door Install Technician position at Wayne Overhead Door Sales and Home Improvements?
Are you an experienced technician looking for a fresh challenge? Our garage door technician position might be perfect for you! You will be in charge of installing garage doors in homes and commercial buildings, in addition to training other technicians. Our technicians work on renovations, new installations, and repairs, so every day is a little bit different. You will interact with customers and represent our company every day in all of our service areas, so you need to be able to deliver excellent service. You must be proficient with power tools and have a fundamental knowledge of how electrical systems operate in order to perform this job. Apply right away if this sounds like a great opportunity. 20 - $35 hourly
Responsibilities :
- Utilize software to take notes, make quotes, and create invoices for customers
- Attend appointments within the window that has been given to the client
- Complete a thorough inspection, make a precise diagnosis of any problems with the present system, and give the customer their options
- Check the location and measure openings for installation when working on larger jobs
- Participate in company meetings and adhere to company procedures
