Wayne's Automotive is seeking a dependable and skilled Light Duty Tow Truck Operator to become a vital part of our dedicated team.
This role involves much more than just towing vehicles; it’s about delivering exceptional service and support to our customers during moments of need.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely towing and transporting vehicles, assisting with roadside emergencies, and maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
Whether it’s a jump-start, a flat tire, or a vehicle recovery, you will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and upholding our reputation for reliability and quality service.
Compensation :
$30,000 - $60,000 yearly
Responsibilities :
- Interact with clients politely and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction
- Operate a light-duty tow truck to tow vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Respond promptly to roadside assistance requests, including jump-starts, tire changes, and fuel deliveries.
- Inspect and maintain the tow truck to ensure operational readiness.
- Accurately complete paperwork and maintain detailed records of service calls.
- Experienced wrecker driver wanted
- Must live in the Aiken / North Augusta / Augusta area
- Must be able to perform emergency road service, towing, and recovery
- Must enjoy working with the public have a friendly attitude and have the desire to help and serve other people
- You must have the ability to lift 75lbs, and sustain significant amount of driving, bending, lifting, and twisting
- Must be able to work nights, and weekends on an alternating schedule
Qualifications :
- Lift at minimum 25 pounds
- Excellent communication skills and time management skills
- Preference for candidates with prior delivery driver or related job experience
- Must have graduated high school or received equivalency
- Commercial driver’s license (CDL) strongly desired
