Sandwich Barn/Caribou Coffee Barista
Reports to: Deli Manager, Sandwich Barn/Caribou Manager, and Store Manager
Department: Sandwich Barn/Caribou Coffee
Position Summary: This position assists customers in a courteous manner and prepares orders to customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Slices, cuts, weighs, and prices merchandise in a courteous manner and prepares order to customer satisfaction.
- Unload merchandise and transports stock to storage area.
- Always maintain shelves and keep cases filled.
- Control freshness by coding and rotating all products and remove out-of-date merchandise daily.
- Price all products to maintain profits.
- Maintain and promote new items and weekly specials.
- Communicate temperature failure of cases and storage area to manager in charge.
- Follow approved procedures for receiving product, price marking, and restocking cases to ensure quality protection, accuracy, and product rotation.
- Maintain good communication in store and throughout the organization.
- Greet all customers kindly and be observant.
- Promote trust and respect among associates.
- Display a positive attitude.
- Notify management of customer or employee accidents.
- Report all safety risks or issues and illegal activity including robbery, theft, or fraud.
- Put money drawers and drop bags in safe at the end of shifts.
