Job Summary
The Sales Analyst is responsible for supporting the sales team with data-driven insights, managing analytical tools, and maintaining crucial pricing, freight, and bid data. This role focuses on enhancing sales performance by running key models, tracking trends, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize pricing, freight management, and bid submissions. The Sales Analyst will also serve as a backup for the Internal Sales Manager and play a critical role in preparing for customer and quarterly sales reviews.
Job Responsibilities (list the top 6-8 responsibilities the role is required to do)
Data Analysis and Model Management :
- Run Financial Models : Execute and interpret Financial models to provide actionable insights and trend analysis for the sales team.
- Track Financial Trends : Regularly monitor and report on Financial trends, ensuring that current market data informs sales strategies and pricing adjustments.
- Margin Percent Modeling : Work with team members to develop and update margin percentage models, aiding in precise forecasting and financial planning.
Sales Planning and Pricing Review :

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education
Experience
1-3 years’ experience data analysis, in a sales analysis or financial analysis role preferred, with knowledge of freight management and cost accounting, a plus.
