The Foundation Financial Manager
is an essential team member within Wayne State College and responsible for managing and performing all financial functions of the Wayne State Foundation. The nature of work includes maintaining all financial records, managing accounts payable, pledges receivable, and cash receipts, preparation of monthly financial statements and quarterly reports, monitoring cash balances, and reconciliation of accounts. The position is also responsible for developing the annual budget and preparing for and managing the Foundation’s annual audit of the financial statements. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of accounting principles, excellent written and oral communication skills, and superior customer service.
