Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to join our team as a Professor in Industrial Technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction, advising students, and engaging in professional achievement and service activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach courses in Industrial Technology, including lectures, discussions, laboratories, and online materials
- Develop and update course content to ensure relevance and currentness
- Advising students on academic issues, career counseling, tutoring, and other academic support resources
- Participate in program assessment, catalog revisions, and departmental enrollment management planning
- Engage in scholarly and creative activity, such as research, presentations, and publications
- Provide evidence of quality and originality of thought or work and breadth and depth of perspective
- Contribute to the development of new courses, where necessary, and revise existing courses
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in an area of Industrial Technology, Engineering, Construction, or a Building Science related field
- Experience in teaching and effectively using technology to facilitate student learning
- Preferred Qualifications: 3 or more years of relative professional experience, undergraduate teaching experience, and experience with industrial technology computer-aided processes and programs
