Our laboratory studies the immune regulation of pregnancy and pregnancy complications using human specimens and animal models. Understanding the immunological control of pregnancy is critical to preventing and treating many diseases, such as preterm birth, miscarriage, preeclampsia and prenatal infection and improving the quality of life of mothers and babies.
Qualifications:
Experience: Experienced (minimum 2 years of job-related experience)
Preferred qualifications:
Perform research with human specimens and animal models under the direction of the PI and with other lab members according to approved research protocols Maintain good communication with the PI and other lab members Maintain the laboratory work areas including routine maintenance on laboratory equipment and procurement and organization of laboratory supplies for research work Contribute to collaboration with other WSU investigators and external collaborators on work related to the laboratory’s scientific objectives
