Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of Florida legal procedures, particularly in personal injury law. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys through the litigation process, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and timely.

Duties

• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing case files and gathering necessary documents.
• Conduct legal research.
• Draft and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Manage case files and maintain accurate records within the law office’s database.
• Coordinate project management tasks related to ongoing litigation cases.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information pertinent to cases.
• Ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines throughout the litigation process.

Experience

• 5 years experience as a paralegal or in a similar role within a Florida law office setting is required.
• Familiarity with Florida personal injury law is required.
• Proficient in legal drafting and proofreading with attention to detail.
• Strong data entry skills with experience using legal software.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for client interaction and collaboration with attorneys.
