Job Summary:
The F&B Attendant at Waynesville Inn & Golf is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for guests at our prestigious golf course. This part-time, hourly position requires an individual who is friendly, outgoing, and has a passion for hospitality and the restaurant industry. As an F&B Attendant, you will be a vital part of our team, working to create a positive atmosphere for our guests at all times.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $12 per hour plus tips, paid biweekly. As an employee of Waynesville Inn & Golf, you will also have access to a range of benefits including meal discounts, employee discounts at the pro shop, and complimentary golf privileges.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Take and process food and beverage orders accurately.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards and procedures.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of turn house, outdoor dining areas, and Betty, our beverage cart.
- Pilot Betty(the cart) safely and efficiently, recognizing approved cart paths and golf etiquette.
- Handle credit card transactions as well as charges to member accounts and hotel guest room charges.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of menus. Bonus points for golf knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down F&B equipment in the turn house and on the cart, organizing and restocking inventory.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry preferred.
• Customer service oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
