All-Source/Threat Analyst

 

Position Title:  All Source Threat Analyst

Position Type:  Full-time (on-site)

Position Location:  Chantilly, VA

Clearance:  TS/SCI or TS/SCI Poly

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

• Implement risk management programs for our federal clients by utilizing NIST, RMF, and FISMA compliance frameworks.

• Enhance cyber awareness with clients and project teams.

• Work alongside federal clients to help them mitigate risk with the use of continuous monitoring and incident response.

• Establish security controls to ensure protection of client systems.

• Implement cutting edge security tools for our federal clients.

• Seeking an All-Source and Threat Intelligence Analyst with North Korean specialty to support in intelligence functions, analytics, and cyber investigations and operations. 

• Conduct research and analysis at the operational or strategic level and communicate your assessments in operational or strategic level analytic intelligence products and through oral briefings. 

• Threat analysis will include assessments identifying and describing threat actors, activities, platforms, and targets as well as how they interact and providing an understanding of the presence, intent, and capabilities of the identified threats. 

• Assess how environmental variables (EVs) may affect threats (known or emerging) in a given domain.

 

Requirements:

 

• Basic understanding of computer networking 

• A basic understanding of TCP/IP and Networking Appliances.

• Understanding or willingness to learn Cyber Criminal Infrastructure 

• Willingness to become a subject matter expert.

• Passion for strategic analysis and production and report writing. 

• Ability to adhere to a predefined style and usage guide.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel 

• The ability to take a prewritten formula and edit the formula to use different cells to retrieve data.

• Ability to provide a generic cybercrime briefing using a premade PowerPoint presentation.

• Ability to brief strategic products to executive management

• Ability to work independently with little to no guidance. 

• The position requires you to independently research topics to create strategic products and inform policymakers on upcoming threats within the landscape.

• A Bachelor’s degree in any major, a minimum of two years of intelligence analysis experience within the USIC, and one of the following certifications:

EC Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

EC Council Computer Hacking Forensics Investigator (CHFI)

Logical Operations Inc. CyberSec First Responder (CFR)

CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA )

CompTIA Cloud Plus (Cloud )

CompTIA PenTest

CompTIA Security

CompTIA Network

GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA)

GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)

GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)

Cisco Cybersecurity Specialty Certification (SCYBER) 

Or

A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or information systems, and a minimum of two years of intelligence analysis work experience in the USIC or a minimum of three years of intelligence analysis work experience in the USIC, all of which supported offices whose primary focus was cyber threats to U.S. national security. (E.g., The Director of National Intelligence’s Cyber Threat Intelligence Integration Center (CTIIC); the Central Intelligence Agency’s Center for Cyber Intelligence (CCI); the National Cyber Investigative Joint Task Force (NCIJTF); etc.)
