Waypoint’s client is seeking an Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Automated Test and Tools (ATT) Product Owner (PO) to join the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office. In this role, the ATT PO will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and managing the development of automated test cases and analysis tools. The PO will collaborate with Program Management to prioritize new capabilities, provide guidance to the ATT team throughout Program Increments (PI) and Sprints, and develop acceptance criteria for ATT tasks and stories. Additionally, the PO will verify work performed by the ATT team, capture/document defects in Jira/Confluence, and report on project status, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission.

Responsibilities:
- Define, prioritize, and manage the development of automated test cases and analysis tools
- Work with Program Management to prioritize features for automated test capabilities and analysis tools
- Provide guidance to the ATT team during Program Increments (PI) and Sprints
- Develop and define acceptance criteria for ATT tasks and stories
- Verify work performed by the ATT team and document test results/defects in Jira/Confluence
- Conduct technical briefings and provide advisement to leadership
- Report on project status, recommended courses of action, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission
- A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in engineering, science, or mathematics from an accredited institution (ABET preferred)
- Minimum of 7 years of combined Government/DoD experience in software testing, product management, or related fields
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, performance)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Squish, Cucumber, JUnit)
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop a product roadmap
- Experience creating and maintaining a prioritized product backlog of user stories and test cases
- Knowledge or experience with IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS systems
- Familiarity with JIRA/Confluence tools
- Agilist Certification is a plus
- Strong ability to take initiative, think critically, and work in a team-oriented environment
- Must be able to maintain a Secret security clearance or higher
