Wayside Recovery Center is looking for a Supportive Housing Supervisor! We are looking for someone to work 40 hours per week on site in Saint Louis Park, Monday-Friday, and we are offering $26-$28/hour for this position.
The Supportive Housing Supervisor position will oversee Supportive Housing operations, policies, program projects, service, and facility compliance. This role is also responsible for providing case management, advocacy services and parenting services with primary focus on mother and family relationships at Wayside Supportive Housing. This position will be part of a team designed to wrap family centered and culturally responsive care around diverse family units.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supportive Housing Duties including, but not limited to:
· Oversee all Supportive Housing operations and manage the overall policies, objectives, and projects, including maintaining facilities, managing rent collection and leases.
· Oversee all Supportive Housing compliance, including Minnesota Housing annual certification, Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Section 8, Multifamily Tax Subsidy Projects (MTSP), PORT and HMIS.
· Provide budget forecasts annually in conjunction with COO and Senior Leadership.
· Develop, maintain, and monitor evaluation strategies, reports, and outcome measures to assess effectiveness of services.
· Oversee responsibility for obtaining data and tracking data to assist with grant administrative oversight and applications for new grant and funding opportunities, including grant compliance and outcomes.
· Co-facilitate Monday tenant meetings/late to early evening hour
Case Management Duties including, but not limited to:
· Provide family services case management including parent and family case management, education groups, individual sessions, child and parent assessments, early childhood development screenings, and coordination of care.
· Work in collaboration with the team to help develop and provide support for culturally specific individual and group services for fathers.
· Provide child/parent curriculum and case management to children and extended family members as appropriate.
· Facilitate culturally specific parenting classes for mothers.
· Assist clients in setting goals based on their individual and family needs assessments, and in identifying steps to achieve their goals; monitor progress.
· Identify high-quality community providers and agencies whose services are relevant to client needs. Provide outreach services to engage and connect clients with the community agencies that will help meet their needs and goals.
· Coordinate scheduling and attend case staffing and appointments with community providers with whom client is involved. Maintain regular contact with client’s network of service providers.
· Make appropriate referrals and coordinate care to assist client in obtaining resources and meeting treatment planning goals for client and their family.
· Maintain accurate, timely and complete records, including but not limited to documenting progress, screenings, collateral contacts, and assessments.
· Maintain on-going communication with multi-disciplinary team and collateral workers, including providing written reports and discharge information.
· Complete all required child development assessments and enter the data in the specified database.
· Role model behavior that is consistent with and supportive of people in recovery from substance use disorder. Such behavior will include upholding ethical standards of Wayside Family Treatment programs, reliable attendance, mediation and/or conflict resolution, respectful assertiveness, and open communication. Demonstrate respect and appreciation for diverse cultures and lifestyles.
· Collect and record data in a timely manner- as assigned for grant purposes.
· Must meet regularly as family advocate with each mother and their children to help identify needs, problem solve, set goals, and work on action plans around health, parenting, education, and employment.
· Deliver weekly relapse prevention, groups, seminars, on practical topics such as social-emotional skills, parenting, and financial planning, and recreational events that keep the focus on sobriety and self-improvement.
· Offer Parenting Support and Advocacy through referrals to outside early childhood programs, development assessments, and therapy services.
· Create Partnerships, and with Early Childhood Family Education programs for families with toddlers.
· Create quarterly events such as family game nights, movies, barbecues, crafts, and sports tournaments further build relationships between mothers and their children.
· Deliver weekly relapse prevention, groups, seminars, on practical topics such as social-emotional skills, parenting, and financial planning, and "sober fun" recreational events help bond Eligible Persons and that keep the focus on sobriety and self-improvement.
· Assist Program Manager with admission process for perspective tenants i.e. interviewing, verifying references, etc.
Additional Duties:
· Assist in program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
· Participate in in-services, workshops and other continuing education relative to quality client care.
· Follow all Statute 245G and individual licensing requirements and standards including, following confidentiality laws and mandated reporting.
· Provide transportation to client appointments and to obtain resources as needed.
· Ability to be on-call as assigned.
· Provide crisis intervention/evaluation as needed.
· Participate in on-site clinical supervision and staff meetings.
· Represent Wayside Recovery Center in the community in a positive and constructive manner.
· Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
· Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences or related field.
· Must be able to pass DHS background study.
· Should have an understanding or past experience with Supportive Housing compliance, HUD, Section 8 and/or Housing Subsidy Vouchers.
· 1 year supervision experience.
· Demonstrated experience working effectively with diverse individuals and communities.
· Demonstrated ability to work with and relate effectively to women and children of diverse economic and cultural backgrounds.
· Previous experience and/or understanding of substance use disorder and recovery.
· Skilled in the process of identifying and assessing a wide range of client needs.
· Knowledgeable about local community resources and how to use those resources for the benefit of the client.
· Must have current MN driver’s license and good driving record.
· Must have reliable transportation.
· Must be eighteen years or older.
· Strong attention to detail and flexibility; thinking capabilities and humor are welcome.
