Job Summary
- Sound Engineer position is based in Perdido Key, Florida, and reports directly to the
- Must have knowledge of analog and digital audio equipment
- Set-up and break down live performances in a fast-paced environment
- Perform sound checks and mix live audio
- Operate lighting and be attentive to each performance
- Resolve technical issues when they arise
- Maintain daily equipment checks
- Meet with performers prior to the show to determine sound needs
- Work with Production Director and Manager(s) to maintain quality control
- Show up to work on-time and in a clean, presentable fashion
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated team player with a willingness to learn
- The ability to work successfully in a high-energy, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment is
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple processes, programs
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays and black-out event dates
- Be receptive to exposure to outside elements including heat and/or humidity, cold temperatures, wet
