Sound Engineer

The Sound Engineer will have a love of music, ability to work in a fast moving environment and schooling or

previous experience in sound engineering. This requires understanding the basics of a live performance and the

importance of sound quality and control.

Job Summary

• Sound Engineer position is based in Perdido Key, Florida, and reports directly to the
  
  

Production Director for weekly assignments

• Must have knowledge of analog and digital audio equipment
• Set-up and break down live performances in a fast-paced environment
• Perform sound checks and mix live audio
• Operate lighting and be attentive to each performance
• Resolve technical issues when they arise
• Maintain daily equipment checks
• Meet with performers prior to the show to determine sound needs
• Work with Production Director and Manager(s) to maintain quality control
• Show up to work on-time and in a clean, presentable fashion

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple processes, programs
  
  

and procedures simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines

• Must be available to work weekends, holidays and black-out event dates
• Be receptive to exposure to outside elements including heat and/or humidity, cold temperatures, wet
  
  

conditions, and prolonged standing/walking
