Student Behavior Support Counselor
Wayside Academy - Framingham
Salary Range: $19.25 - $20.00/hour depending on experience sign-on bonus (half paid after 30 days of employment and half paid after 90 days of employment/pro-rated for part-time).

What You Will Do:
Directly supervise and engage with students in activities and daily routines.
Support skill building for all students through collaborative team work.
Show yourself to be a willing learner in trainings and maintain necessary certifications.
Facilitating school routines and student skill building, working with the staff team to ensure the program structure while providing positive role modeling for youth.
Assist the school in providing basic needs for students, such as a safe and orderly school environment, access to therapeutic supports, and support/processing opportunities during periods of distress.

Minimum Requirements:
Valid drivers’ license required - motor vehicle background record checks will be completed.
High School degree or equivalent required.
We will train you in: Motivational Interviewing; Courageous Conversations; Attachment, Regulation and Competency Model (ARC); Trauma Informed Practice; Therapeutic Crisis Intervention; CPR and First Aid.
