Overview of the Engagement Specialist
The Engagement Specialist will report to the Member Engagement Manager and will be tasked with longitudinal engagement with Members enrolled in Wayspring’s program. The ideal candidate will be a highly personable and professional with excellent communication skills. This individual will work to support a specific health plan market that Wayspring offers services in.
Responsibilities for the Engagement Specialist
- Conduct text and telephonic outreach to members assigned to their caseload
- Successfully contact members and review with them with an educational overview of Wayspring’s service offerings
- Provide on-going engagement to members
- Ensure members are connected to Wayspring clinical services
- Incorporate recovery support themes into engagement
- Regularly review member profile for SDoH and clinical updates
- Initiate creative strategies to facilitate member contact
- Maintain performance accountability around member engagement and participation and achieve performance targets
- Adhere to Wayspring information security and privacy requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an outreach role, with preferred experience around telephonic outreach
- Highly organized and detail-oriented and self-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability working in a matrixed environment
- The ability to communicate effectively and persuasively is required
- Exceptional verbal communication skills, and effective presentation skills
- Experience with CRM platforms or Electronic Health Record systems is preferred
