The Residential Senior Program Manager ensures overall quality of services, consistency, and standardization of all programs
KEY ACTIVITIES:
- Hire, train, motivate and evaluate Program Directors for assigned programs (Recruit and screen candidates, hire in conjunction with VP of Residential services, orient and coach. Provide ongoing training, assess skills to determine effectiveness of training, give feedback and support on performance)
- Design and monitor consistent and uniform standards and procedures (Ensure that procedures and expectations are in place that facilitate compliance with quality assurance standards and applicable regulations, regular review of documentation and practices, assist Program Director with developing specific program goals)
- Ensure continued operation of the program in the absence of the Program Director (Ensure that staff have needed support, medications, money, health and safety are attended to and payroll is completed)
- Program budget management (Oversee spending, monitor audit reports regularly)
- Conduct investigations of reportable incidents and complaints (Interview involved parties, gather information, document findings and present to HR or VP of Residential Services. Report all incidents of alleged client abuse immediately to the VP of Residential Services who will investigate.)
OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO.
- Review clinical needs of individuals with Program Director, Director of Nursing, assigned agency nurse and Coordinator of Behavioral and Mental Health Services. Attend monthly Clinical Review meetings.
- Oversee transition of new individuals, working with Program Director, Clinical Team and Quality Assurance to ensure a safe and smooth transition.
- Monitor the upkeep of program facilities and follow-up to ensure that needed repairs are done and regular cleaning is maintained.
- Lead Program Director and cluster meetings, participate regularly in Residential Management team meetings.
- Work closely with the Director of Quality Assurance and Training to coordinate monitoring visits and identify unmet training needs.
- On-call responsibilities after hours and rotating on-call for weekends and holidays
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Other duties as assigned by the VP of Residential Services.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in a field related to agency services.
- Five years of experience in Human Services, two in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities in a management position.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Demonstrated skills in leading and supervision.
- Valid drivers license in good standing with one year of licensed driving experience.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
