The Vice President of Compliance is a key member of the leadership team. The Vice President of Compliance is tasked with leading our compliance initiatives and ensuring that our organization adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies, while also focusing on quality improvements across the agency. This role will oversee nursing, behavioral health, training, EHR administration and quality assurance to develop, implement and maintain compliance throughout the agency to mitigate risk and work to make data informed decisions.
Essential Functions:
- Assists with the development, revision, and enforcement of the organization's policies and procedures
- Train, supervise, mentor and support directors of training, quality assurance, and EHR administration, including supervising and evaluating performance and coordinating ongoing developmental trainings.
- Collaborate with IT to Implement, sustain, and cascades a quality management system which creates the greatest value to individuals served, in alignment with organizational strategic objectives.
- Works collaboratively throughout the agency to establish a consistent, comprehensive approach to data collection, analysis, and reporting of internal and external quality indicators and benchmarks to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with program Vice Presidents to ensure cross-divisional communication and development of program models to best serve our individuals.
- Oversee all quality monitoring activities and reporting for the system and works closely with key stakeholders to identify, resolve, and monitor quality issues.
- Maintain knowledge and up to date on regulatory requirements and industry standards affecting the organization. Oversee the accurate and timely completion and submission of surveys and documents for external benchmarking entities related to quality.
- Work with the executive team to incorporate quality measurement insights into the broader organizational strategy, ensuring alignment with Waystone's mission and vision.
- In collaboration with Human Resources, oversee the development and implementation of staff training initiatives across the agency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human services or related field (Masters preferred)
- 5-10 years of experience in supervisory role, with at least 2 years in a Senior Leadership role.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral health challenges.
- Experience in regulatory oversight and/or quality control within a human services/ healthcare setting
- Excellent organizational and communication skills. Demonstrated skills in leading, training, and strong supervision skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, strong critical thinking and decision-making ability
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with clinical data analysis required
- Valid driver's license in good standing with minimum of 1 year driving experience
- Regular and predictable attendance
