KPMG is currently seeking an Intern for Digital Nexus.
- Responsibilities :
- Assist with IT architecture design and documentation: Support the architecture team in designing and documenting IT infrastructure and systems; participate in software development projects: Collaborate with the development team on coding, testing, and deploying software applications.
- Support IT Service Management (ITSM) processes: Help manage IT service requests, incidents, and changes using ITSM tools and best practices; assist with contract and asset management: Work with asset managers to research and resolve data integrity issues
- Partner with IT hardware and software asset owners to ensure asset information is kept accurate and up to date throughout the lifecycle. Work to resolve issues/problems; generate reports requested by management; conduct research and analysis: Perform research on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to support IT initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with various IT teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery; document processes and procedures: Create and maintain documentation for IT processes, procedures, and systems
- Provide technical support: Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues for end-users; participate in team meetings and presentations: Attend and contribute to team meetings, presentations, and brainstorming sessions
- Learn and apply new skills: Continuously learn and apply new technical skills and knowledge relevant to the role
- Qualifications :
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the following degrees/majors; Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Forensics, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Data Processing, Data Analytics, Engineering, Informatics, Information Management, Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or equivalent program
- Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.0 or above
- Strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills and ability to navigate MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
- Understanding of business processes and information management, project management methodologies and best practices in these areas a plus
- Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; resourceful in delivering high quality work
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and privileged information
- Work location may be in the office, at client sites, or virtual/remote depending on business need. You must be located within the U.S. when working remotely. Client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay
