WB Moore Company is seeking an exceptional Service Department Manager!
The Electrical Service Manager carries out all duties required for the successful operation of the small project/ service department including supervision of personnel, customer/client relations, and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all Service Department contract administration and execution
- Enhancement of the Service Department and company reputations by accepting ownership for accommodating new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to projects.
- Management and service of company equipment allocated to Service Department
- Accurate and timely reporting of service department activities within company guidelines
- Responsible for planning and directing project activities, monitoring field installation processes and coaching staff and field personnel
Job Qualifications/Skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; exceptional organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required
- Applicant must be familiar with a variety of the electrical field's concepts, practices, best practices, and procedures including the technical ability to understand and interpret Electrical Codes, Life Safety Codes, NFPA, Uniform Building Codes, permits, and Lighting Systems where applicable
- Must be knowledgeable of OSHA safety standards
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and estimating software (CONEST)
Education
- High School Graduate/GED
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of ELECTRICAL experience
