Cloud Security and tool skills:
- Experience in cloud onboarding, tool management, and issue analysis using Wiz Security platforms (or equivalent CNAPP solutions) is a must.
- Deep understanding of cloud computing, including virtualization, containerization, and microservices; Good understanding of IAM concepts.
- Knowledge of security concepts (with zero-trust design principles as a plus);
- Hands-on experience in container security.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing for information security on public cloud;
- Experience in authoring security policies in the cloud and remediation.
- Strong knowledge of security across layers (OS, network, application, data, container, CI/CD, etc.);
- Hands-on experience with CSP security tools (like AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, or Google Cloud Platform Security Command Center) would be a plus;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Automation Skills:
- Proficiency in Python for automation or in observability engineering,
- Experience in Gitops implementation and gitlab would be a plus.
- Hands-on experience in Terraform automation with ability to create custom providers is a plus.
- Experience in managing the secrets in Vault and Hashicorp Vault is a plus.
Mandatory Skills
- Cloud Infrastructure Solutioning AWS and Azure Core Services Terraform GitLab
- Cloud Engineer with 5 years of experience in designing , deploying, and developing cloud infrastructure solutions in a large-scale enterprise.
- Proficient in AWS and Azure core services focusing on cyber security capabilities with hands-on experience in implementing security best practices, access management, config management, log management, set up monitoring & alerts, implement guardrails, policies, build auto-remediation capabilities, manage access controls, automate gold images - RHEL/ Windows, protect workloads at scale using infrastructure as code.
- Preferably using Terraform and GitLab. Soft skills - Team player, who enjoys working independently in a dynamic and vibrant environment.
- Typically, the right engineer would be able to answer / solution details on any of the following topics.
- How to enable enable policies on each s3 automatically
- How to enable logs on every VMs automatically
- How to set up alerts on any ssh logins from a bad IP address.
- Build an automated image pipeline
